"Across the Mirror."
If you shine lights on the sapphire crystal
Can you see stars?
Or does the star evades upon you
To leave you with such open remark?
It was a cozy afternoon
When everything fell apart
Or should I say falling back together
Just to get a second reply
A second eye is welcomed
As long as it was Fates'
If you think the standard runs too high
They say sky is the limit
Let the story continue later
She runs away with all her friends and foes
T's a jolly route for folly
T's folia on sorrow
Pass the sparrow to the swallow
For how far away is the statue
Pass the lanterne to the blindbird
For that's how she finds home
Despite traces of sea trade
The deal is on and done
Never dial 999 if you knows 666
For one is eager the other is not
How long the story continues
Depends on the crowd's mood
Who yells "yes" more than "no"
So again here we go
After meeting the sparrow
Our maid approached the pendulum
There was only one answer to this
So no question was asked
"How fares Norway?" inquires the Sphinx
"It was a while ago we chatted and danced,"
"It was awhile."
"Norway is fine and far away" she exclaimed.
After granted a pass the story ends
Because Sphinx needs her dinnerplate
The maiden wants her betterplace
Enough has been said than done.
