Cherry Tree
When I think about those winters
With frostbites and froststorms
Your silence is intoxicating
So is your sheer relentlessness
And I don't know and I don't know
For why does those moments to last
I was watching the movement of your hands
Before this dance was not made to last
All of our plans turned to accordions
It's winter, no accordions
And their, to carry through, I know you
There, I said it, soon the snow
Will fall by the snow globe
And I will be taking cherry blossom latte
with a dash of wine
To give warm rain and warm wine
In your coldness I was alive
In your warmth I was hypnotized
And you spoke to me, a simple
"how are you" turned dry ice to a smile
Under the cherry tree, where we turn to winter
Under the cherry tree, where winter turn to snow
