A Lover in Berlin
You are selling for a price to be buried
The price is not right you are alright
I also had a lover in Berlin
It was more of a mutual interest
But it wasn't levy time for the safety of dry land
We went to the sea and part of us didn't come back
The sailing ship will take you from this place
You will be gone before sundown
And murmur my name in the window seat
Of an on board all you can eat seafood place
Will you try the shrimp cocktail for me?
Or will you open the kept locket and toss it away into the sea
And passion is not willing to be saved
Appassionata is a bit better
The letter slowly read,
"Gentle sir, do your damn thing."
That was when I lost all my sense of sight.
His voice is like a violin string
His eyes like damp lighting
Maybe he will bring me to a place
But there is no passion, no ending
Liberal, liberally
Maybe one day this tiredness will fade away
Altogether with the entire package
Burning droplets in the burning sea
Better call it private oceans
With floating curtains of velvet
Curtain drops, curtain falls
Like we would, a little bit
A sailing ship will take the saltness away
Better to call it a sailing sea
One day you will be torn away from me
Not even your best memory
With love there is nothing
Despite the lukewarm pain
You are not even you without the sadness
Gossamer glister on a blistering
One day I will burn the violin
And nestle in the lukewarm pain
